
If you are a health fanatic and are always counting calories or more importantly counting carbs you know that it is hard to find a restaurant to eat out at.
Even fast food companies are starting to realize that they need to offer the public more options when it comes to food. If you are a health fanatic I would not suggest eating out at fast food restaurants too often though.
Subway restaurants if you want to call them that are probably the best option of you are looking for low carb fast food. Although you will be eating bread it is still the healthier choice when eating fast food.
Wendy’s and MacDonald’s are now offering salads within their menus. Wendy’s low carb fast food item would be the Caesar side salad as you do not have to put the dressing on, they also offer the grilled chicken sandwich but that does not mean you have to eat the bread. Macdonald’s now offers salads too, their item is the grilled chicken salad, and this is a great option as you can choose what you like on the salad.
Burger king and taco bell also offer the chicken salad which is similar to Wendy’s and Macdonald’s.
There are several restaurants that have low carb food. Many restaurants are realizing that many healthier people do not dine out but they are adding options to their menus to accommodate them. Remember that the main ingredients in a low carb diet are meat, vegetables, salad and fruit. It should not be that hard to find that kind of combination. Many restaurants will supply bread and potatoes but those are just fillers that you do not have to eat.
If you do find that you are out for a night on the town or that you stopping for a quick bite to eat at a fast food restaurant that you do not have to starve yourself, there are good options.
